Charlton Athletic of EFL League One is set to secure the signing of 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee Prince Adegoke.
Adegoke has expressed his farewell to Chelsea on social media before his impending move to Charlton.
The goalkeeper has earned a one-year contract with an optional extension after a successful trial. Charlton has succeeded in acquiring Adegoke's talents, outshining competition from higher-ranked English football clubs.
Although Luton Town and Queens Park Rangers were interested, the 2003-born player chose Charlton over other offers, including one from Peterborough United.
Adegoke began his football journey at Glebe, a local Sunday league team, before joining Chelsea at age 12 under schoolboy terms.
During his tenure at Stamford Bridge, he featured for Chelsea's youth team in U18 Premier League, U18 Premier League Cup, and FA Youth Cup competitions.
