England Suffers Key Absences Ahead of Nations League Fixtures

Cole Palmer, Ollie Watkins, and Phil Foden have been ruled out of England's upcoming Nations League matches, according to a statement from the Football Association on Tuesday.

 

 After medical evaluations, both Palmer and Watkins were sent back to their clubs to continue recovering from ongoing injuries.

 

Phil Foden, who was initially called up by interim manager Lee Carsley, did not join the squad at St George's Park due to illness and has been withdrawn from the team.

 

 England is set to face Ireland in Dublin on 7 September, followed by a match against Finland at Wembley three days later.
