Cristiano Ronaldo realizes that life at the Saudi club is extremely removed from modern society, desires to quit Al-Nassr and may pursue a return to Europe

Posted : 23 May 2023
Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants to leave Al-Nassr, and could seek a return to Europe after struggling to adapt to life with the Saudi Arabian club.

The world was surprised when the Portuguese superstar, whose contract at Manchester United had just been cancelled, decided to join Al-Nassr at the end of December.

Ronaldo is the highest-paid player in the league thanks to a two-year, $215 million contract at Mrsool Park, but Mundo Deportivo claims that he has not made the Middle East his permanent home.

The infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, which Ronaldo considers to be quite removed from modern culture, has left him unimpressed, according to the Spanish publication, and he is already keen to leave Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo has scored 13 goals in his first 17 games for Al-Nassr, however since his arrival, the team's position atop the Saudi Pro League standings has dropped, and they have also been eliminated from the King Cup of Champions.
