Cristiano Ronaldo believes the Saudi Arabia Pro League can overtake the top five leagues in the world of football

The Saudi Pro League, in Cristiano Ronaldo's opinion, has the potential to become the fifth-best league in the world.
 
Since Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January, football in Saudi Arabia has received increased attention as the Portuguese team competed for the league championship before falling to Al-Ittihad.
 
The 38-year-old has more elite talents expected to join him to the Middle East, and he is certain that the league will grow quickly.
 
"If they continue to do the work that they want to for the next five years, I think the Saudi League can be the 5th best league in the world," he said in an interview with the Saudi Pro League.
 
Following previous patterns established by China and Qatar, the Saudi Pro League is the most recent league to spend enormous sums of money to sign great talents from across the world in an effort to improve its reputation.
