Al-Hilal seeks to sign reduced-term, €930 million Silva, linked to Messi

Al-Hilal is making efforts to attract Bernardo Silva, who is set to sign a new contract with the English champions, albeit one with significantly reduced terms. It appears that Al-Hilal, the team that finished third in the Saudi league last season, is willing to offer the Portuguese star a substantial weekly salary of €930,000 which even the English champions will struggle to match.
It is worth noting that Silva has previously expressed his desire to leave Manchester City, with Barcelona being his preferred destination. Interestingly, during the summer, there were speculations linking the team with Leo Messi, who eventually joined Inter Miami.
Al-Hilal has strengthened its squad with the addition of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, who returned to the club for a second spell. Prior to this, the club had also secured the signings of Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea and Ruben Neves from Wolves.
Meanwhile, Liverpool continues to bolster their midfield. Following the acquisition of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton for £35m, they have now officially signed Hungarian midfielder Dominik Soboselai (22).
The Merseyside Reds have agreed to pay £60m to his former club, Red Bull Leipzig, securing his services for a five-season contract. Soboselai will don the number 8 shirt, previously worn by the underperforming Nabi Keita, who has been released.
After the official signing, Soboselai expressed his excitement, saying, "The past few days have felt slow, and I am delighted to finally become a Liverpool player. I am eagerly looking forward to playing for a club with such rich tradition, history, talented coach, skilled players, and passionate fans."
Soboselai joined Red Bull Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg two and a half years ago for a fee of €22 million. During his time there, he has contributed significantly, scoring 20 goals and providing 22 assists in 91 appearances for the club in Germany.
