2022/2023 NPFL Super 6: Lobi Stars FC targets first win against Enyimba Int'l FC

In continuation of the ongoing  NPFL Championship Play-off (Super 6) 2023, Lobi Stars will battle Enyimba International in an early kick-off at Mobolaji Arena, Onikan, Lagos State.

The Lobi Stars' Head Coach, Mohammed Baba Ganaru will press his men to be clinical in front of goals as they take on the People's Elephant to mark their second game of the playoff. 

After securing a point in the opening game following a goalless draw against Bendel Insurance of Benin where the Pride of Benue displayed discipline and character throughout the duration, the gaffer and his lads had a team talk to sort out grey areas.

The Makurdi-based side will approach the tie with the needed intent focusing on a positive result.

Trusting his captain to stand in between the stick to coordinate affairs, following the absence of goalkeeper Daniel Emmanuel, the former Kano Pillars tactician won't hesitate to call on his lanky goalkeeper, Daniel Atsaka to partner with Moses Tsehuan, whose combination with Kalu Orji proved solid at the back to thwart Insurance attacking threats. 

Experienced midfielder, Christian Madu will partner with Francis Odinaka to supply Joseph Atule and Abba Umar with the needed services during the proceedings. 

Both teams will be meeting each other for the first time this season. Coach Finidi George, whose side played a 2-2 draw against Remo Stars on their opening campaign of the same tourney, will face a tough tackling side in an early kickoff tie.

The gaffer will parade the likes of Emeka Obioma, Imoh Obot, and his Togolese goalkeeper Sabirou Bassa-Djeri, with the hope that they are at their best to curtail Baba Ganaru's lads' firepower. 

The Yes-Father's Boys are confident of securing positive results to improve on the log upon the final whistle.
