Werder Bremen considering signing Nigeria's 2023 FIFA U20 standout

Werder Bremen is reportedly interested in signing Tochukwu Nnadi, the young star of Nigeria's 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup, to reinforce their midfield during the January transfer window.
Nnadi currently plays for Botev Plovdiv in Bulgaria, with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2025.
Although he joined the Canaries in 2022, he has struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup, starting only six games in the efbet Liga, the top tier of Bulgarian football, this season, with seven substitute appearances.
Despite this, Nnadi has made a total of 42 appearances across all competitions for Botev Plovdiv, contributing with one assist.
While primarily a defensive midfielder, he has also showcased his versatility by playing as a central midfielder during the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup, representing Nigeria in five matches.
