Waldrum, Oshoala, Plumptre return to Super Falcons ahead of Cameroon clash

Upon his return as the Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum has extended invitations to 21 players for their 2024 Olympic Games qualifying match against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.


Waldrum will take charge of the team for the first time since the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Round of 16 matchup against the Three Lionesses of England.


Regulars like Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Rasheedat Ajibade, Michelle Alozie, and Toni Payne are all included in the squad.


The nine-time African champions will lock horns with Cameroon in the first leg in Douala, Cameroon, on February 23, while the second leg will take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Monday, 26th February.
