Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is planning a major cultural bridge between Nigeria and Turkey. The forward intends to fly a group of prominent Nigerian media personalities to Istanbul for the upcoming Intercontinental Derby. This high-stakes match against rivals Fenerbahçe is scheduled for April 26, 2026. The trip is expected to be a fully-funded luxury experience.

Osimhen has already hinted at his guests via social media interactions. Notable influencers such as AsiwajuLerry and BuchiLaba appear to be part of the travel plans. This initiative follows his previous tradition of bringing Nigerian figures to celebrate major career milestones. He previously hosted guests like Tunde Ednut during Galatasaray’s 2025 league title celebrations.
