Victor Osimhen aspires to mend Nigerian hearts through AFCON triumph

Newly crowned African Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen, seeks to bring joy to Nigerian supporters by clinching an Africa Cup of Nations title. His individual success follows Napoli's Italian title win and consistent scoring for the Super Eagles. Despite the achievements, Osimhen recalls the disappointment of failing to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, vowing to make amends in the upcoming tournament.


The Napoli forward believes winning the Cup of Nations would be the perfect remedy for the lingering suffering of Nigerian supporters.
