Tijjani Reijnders Set to Leave Manchester City for Al-Qadsiah

Tijjani Reijnders is set to leave Manchester City for Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah after the two sides reached an agreement worth around £52 million. The 28-year-old midfielder is expected to complete the move after undergoing a medical and finalising personal terms.

Reijnders joined City from AC Milan last summer for approximately £46.3m and enjoyed a promising start to his time in England. However, his involvement decreased as the season progressed, with the Netherlands international finishing his campaign with seven goals in 50 appearances.

His departure is expected to form part of a wider midfield reshuffle at Manchester City under new manager Enzo Maresca. The club are also dealing with uncertainty over Rodri's future and have identified Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández as a potential target.

Reijnders will join an Al-Qadsiah side managed by former Liverpool, Celtic and Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers. The transfer brings an abrupt end to his Manchester City spell after just one season.
