Shagamu agog as 2024 NLO kicks off with 8 teams

The prime city of Shagamu will be the next battleground for the Nationwide League One (NLO) teams as the Southern conference promises to be a survival of the fittest, with 8 teams engaging in a week-long clash set to commence on Monday, April 22, 2024.

One of the standout teams in this group is Best Talent Football Club from Mowe, Ogun State. With a total of 28 matches set to take place in Shagamu, Best Talent is prepared to kick off their 2024 Nationwide League 1 campaign against Olumo United on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10 am.

It would be remembered that the bronze-winning team in the recently concluded Preseason tournament organized by Oyo FA was a delight to watch in Ibadan.

The team's Director, Adeyinka Adeyemo, stated that he had put all machinery in motion to ensure that the club had a hitch-free participation in the 2024 Nationwide League. In his words:

"We have prepared this team physically, mentally, and psychologically for the forthcoming Nationwide League. In fact, we are one of the early birds that completed medicals. It is part of the registration protocols for the participating teams in the NLO.

Our coaching crew, ably led by Coach Yinka Popoola Gullit, is an experienced tactician who knows what it takes to get things done, and we believe he will put his experience to bear with these lads when the season commences.

"We are anxiously anticipating the competition, and we believe our fans and spectators alike will witness good football from Best Talent FC.
