Midfielder Uche Agbo also represented Braga before continuing his career elsewhere in Europe.
Other Nigerians to have featured for the club include Kazeem Kareem, Abiodun Agunbiade, Chidi Osuchukwu and Joseph Samson. According to Transfermarkt, Olamikun becomes the eighth Nigerian player to join Braga.

For Olamikun, the immediate objective will be to settle quickly in Portugal, impress the coaching staff and earn regular opportunities within the club's development system.
