Salah's Trabzonspor Move Headlines Latest Transfer Rumours Across Europe

Posted : 02 August 2026

Mohamed Salah is reportedly edging closer to a move to Turkish club Trabzonspor after leaving Liverpool this summer. Reports suggest the Egypt international is now close to joining Trabzonspor despite previously reaching a verbal agreement with Besiktas, although no official announcement has been made.

Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has also attracted fresh transfer interest, with Bayern Munich said to be monitoring the Slovenia international as a long-term attacking option. The Bundesliga champions reportedly view the 23-year-old as a player who could eventually complement or succeed Harry Kane, allowing the England captain to operate in a deeper role as his career progresses.

Another rumoured move involves Manchester City, where new manager Enzo Maresca is believed to be keen on a reunion with Chelsea winger Pedro Neto. City are reportedly exploring a deal for the Portugal international, who is valued at around £70 million after impressing in the Premier League.

Elsewhere, Arsenal are reportedly a potential destination for Aston Villa and England defender Ezri Konsa, while Chelsea and Tottenham have joined Newcastle United in the race to sign Atalanta centre-back Giorgio Scalvini. Newcastle are said to be preparing an opening bid, although the Italian club's valuation remains significantly higher.

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones is also attracting attention from Inter Milan. Reports indicate the Serie A club has already seen an initial offer rejected but remains in discussions over an improved package that could satisfy Liverpool's asking price.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly intensified their pursuit of Ajax winger Mika Godts, despite interest from several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, Chelsea are expected to reward Brazilian forward João Pedro with a new contract despite his existing long-term deal, following reported interest from Barcelona.

Other transfer speculation suggests Manchester United are unlikely to pursue Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye because of strong interest from Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal. Fulham, meanwhile, are reportedly competing with Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Real Betis and Como for AZ Alkmaar striker Troy Parrott, while Benfica forward Franjo Ivanovic is believed to be nearing a loan move to Hull City.
