Cristiano Ronaldo Faces World Cup Uncertainty After First Red Card for Portugal

Last Thursday, the World Cup qualifying clash between Portugal and Ireland produced a historic and troubling moment for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar, who had never been sent off in his international career, received a straight red card during the 2-0 shock defeat in Dublin—a first in 226 appearances for his country.
