Remo Stars beef up team with appointment of goalkeeper, trainer

In an effort to enhance their prospects of clinching the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title, Remo Stars, the current leaders of the 2023/2024 NPFL season, have officially welcomed goalkeeper coach Dahiru Ilu to the team as they compete in the second tier, NPFL24.


Coach Dahiru Ilu, previously associated with training goalkeepers at Niger Tornadoes, has commenced his coaching duties with the Sky Blue Stars, the current table leaders of NPFL24, stationed in Ikenne. His expertise and experience are expected to contribute significantly to the team's defensive strategy and overall performance in the league.


Remo Stars is set to face Katsina United in their Match Day 18 fixture at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, with a seating capacity of 35,000, on Monday, January 15th. As they gear up for this crucial encounter, Remo Stars currently occupies the coveted 1st position on the NPFL24 table, while Katsina United holds the 12th spot. The addition of Coach Dahiru Ilu reflects the club's commitment to fortifying their coaching staff and optimizing their chances of securing the NPFL championship.
