Real Madrid travel to Germany to negotiate Bellingham's signing

According to some sources in Spain, a preliminary deal had been made, and City had withdrawn from the competition because they felt it was hopeless.
 
According to insiders, a deal has not yet been reached, and the Premier League club is still looking for the 19-year-old due to uncertainty over Madrid and Dortmund's ability to reach an agreement.
 
In recent years, Madrid has brought in youthful players Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga to play with seasoned pros Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, and they are eager to add Bellingham to their team to continue the regeneration of their midfield.
 
In his three years at Dortmund, Bellingham has distinguished himself as one of the top young stars in European football.

Bellingham is a player who Madrid has grown more confident they can sign, and they think he would prefer a transfer to the Bernabeu.
