2025/2026 NPFL Matchday 30: Rangers Target Vital Points Against Battling Kwara United

As the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season enters a decisive phase, Rangers International F.C. will look to maintain their strong push for a continental ticket when they face Kwara United FC in a Matchday 30 clash on Sunday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

The Flying Antelopes approach the encounter with confidence as they continue to maintain a solid position in the upper half of the table. With the race for continental qualification intensifying, every point has become crucial for the Enugu-based side as the league campaign edges closer to its final stretch.

However, Rangers will be wary of a determined Kwara United side currently battling to secure its top-flight status. Alao Mohammed is also back in contention, while Gidado Toheeb and Hannafi Babatunde, who missed the trip to Katsina, are expected to be available for selection.

Meetings between Kwara United and Rangers International have often produced intense contests in both the league and the President Federation Cup. Notably, Kwara United claimed a memorable 1-0 victory over Rangers during last year’s Federation Cup semi-final played at the same venue.

Sunday’s clash therefore sets the stage for another intriguing battle, with Rangers chasing continental qualification and Kwara United fighting desperately to remain in the NPFL.
