In a clear statement of intent for the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, eight-time Nigerian champions Rangers International FC have successfully acquired the services of highly-rated forward Stephen Jesam Emmanuel from Nigeria National League (NNL) side Doma United.
The move signals Rangers' strong resolve to assemble a formidable squad capable of challenging for top honors.
The signing ceremony, held at the club's corporate office boardroom in GRA, Enugu, featured the young, powerful center-forward beaming with enthusiasm about the new campaign.
"I am really glad to have been able to convince the club's selectors of what I can do on the pitch," stated the elated 5-foot-8.5-inch forward.
"It is the dream of every footballer to pass through a big club like Rangers, with such great records.
"I believe I will continue to do what the coaches and scouting team saw in me at my last club, to help Rangers achieve its goals in the coming season and beyond."
Jesam Emmanuel, who has previously featured for clubs like City FC and Sporting Supreme FC, is expected to be officially unveiled to the media alongside other new signings in the coming days at an elaborate ceremony.
These new players are being brought in to defend the club’s badge and contribute to a successful 2025/2026 football season.
