Ranchers Bees bolster squad with capture of former Kwara United captain Magus

Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Ranchers Bees have signalled their intent ahead of the 2026/2027 season by completing the signing of experienced defender and former Kwara United captain, Kabiru Magus.

The Kaduna-based club officially unveiled Magus on Tuesday at its secretariat, with General Manager Kabiru Mu'azu presenting the player before club officials and supporters.

The arrival of the seasoned centre-back marks Ranchers Bees' first signing of the transfer window as they prepare for their long-awaited return to the NPFL after an 18-year absence.

Magus joins the club after an impressive spell with Kwara United, where he earned a reputation as one of the league's dependable defenders while serving as captain. His leadership, experience, and composure are expected to add stability to Ranchers Bees' backline as the club targets a competitive campaign in the top flight.
