Plateau United Announces One-Month Off-Season Break After NPFL Campaign

After a tempestuous 2024/2025 season, the management of Plateau United FC of Jos has announced a one-month off-season break for the players and officials of the club.

 

Recall that the Peace Boys from Jos finished the season in 7th position with 54 points, recording 16 wins, 9 draws, and 13 losses.

 

The statement reads:

 

 “Following the completion of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Plateau United FC announces the commencement of its post-season break from Monday, June 2 to Tuesday, July 1.

 

“It was unanimously agreed that, in the event a developing situation necessitates the regrouping of the team before the specified break period ends, the team will reconvene on short notice,” the statement added.

 

The General Manager thanked the Government — the club’s employers — for their consistent support of team activities, the fans for their steadfastness throughout the campaign, and key stakeholders for their

immeasurable support during the season.
