The Osun Military Paramilitary Games 2025 entered Day Four with an exciting display of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship as officers from various security agencies competed for supremacy in Table Tennis and indoor games.

Held at the Michael & Felicia Alabi Sports Hall, Osogbo City Stadium, the competitions featured gripping matches in Table Tennis, Chess, Scrabble, Draft, and the traditional Ayo Olopon game, highlighting the mental agility and competitive spirit of participants across both male and female categories.

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) had a remarkable outing in Table Tennis, sweeping gold medals in both the men’s and women’s categories. Officers demonstrated agility, precision, and resilience to outperform their opponents. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) secured silver in both categories, while the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) claimed bronze in a closely contested event.

In Scrabble, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) emerged victorious in both the men’s and women’s divisions, showcasing exceptional wordplay and mental sharpness. The NIS finished second in both categories, with the NPF and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) claiming bronze in the women’s and men’s events respectively.

The NSCDC continued its dominance in indoor sports by winning gold in the men’s chess event, followed by the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) and NDLEA, who took silver and bronze. In the women’s chess category, the NIS secured gold, the NPF earned silver, and the FRSC completed the podium with bronze.

The NSCDC also excelled in the Draft events, capturing gold medals in both the men’s and women’s competitions. The NCoS and FRSC followed with silver medals, while the NPF and NIS took bronze in their respective divisions.

The traditional Ayo Olopon game added cultural vibrancy to the day. In the men’s event, the NSCDC won gold, with the NCoS and NIS taking silver and bronze. In the women’s category, the NPF emerged champions, defeating strong competition from the NDLEA and NCoS, who claimed silver and bronze.

Day Four highlighted the remarkable balance of strength and intelligence among participating agencies. While the NSCDC maintained an overall lead with multiple gold medals in indoor games, the NPF made a bold statement in Table Tennis, and the FRSC proved dominant in Scrabble.
