Osimhen’s Pregnant Partner Escapes Injury in Three-Car Crash in Istanbul

Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury following a three-vehicle road accident in Istanbul, Türkiye. The 26-year-old model was taken to a private hospital for precautionary medical examinations before being discharged in good condition.

The accident occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district. Turkish media reports said the collision involved Ladewig’s SUV, a light commercial vehicle and another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.

According to the Demirören News Agency (DHA), Ladewig was driving around a bend when her vehicle collided with the light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T. The impact reportedly caused her SUV to lose control and strike the second SUV.

All three vehicles sustained damage, but no injuries were reported among those involved in the collision.

Ladewig subsequently visited a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for medical checks because of her advanced stage of pregnancy. She was discharged after the examinations, with reports confirming that her condition was good.

The incident has drawn attention because of her pregnancy and her relationship with Osimhen, one of Nigeria’s leading international footballers. The reports did not indicate that the Galatasaray striker was present in the vehicle or involved in the accident.

Osimhen, 27, plays for Turkish club Galatasaray and remains an important figure in the Super Eagles setup. His partner, who was born in Berlin, Germany, works as a model and shares fashion and beauty content on social media.

Details about any further investigation into the collision or the allocation of responsibility had not been established in the reports available at the time of publication.
