Obasogie, Oke Handed Leadership Roles as Bendel Insurance Target Strong NPFL Campaign

Bendel Insurance have placed their leadership responsibilities in the hands of goalkeeper Amas Obasogie and Kayode Oke, naming the duo captain and vice-captain, respectively, for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The appointments provide the Benin Arsenal with a clear leadership structure as they prepare for another demanding campaign, with both players expected to help drive the team’s ambitions on and off the pitch.

Obasogie, who has established himself between the posts, will wear the captain’s armband after being entrusted with the responsibility of leading the squad through the new season.
