NWFL Announces Top Performers for 2025/2026 Match Day 6

Following Match Day 6 across nine centres, the NWFL Premiership has announced five standout players shortlisted for the Matchday Six Top Performer Award. The nominees were selected based on match impact, decisive moments, and overall influence on their teams’ performances.

The nominees are:

  1. Seember Emmanuel (Confluence Queens)
    Emmanuel delivered a match-winning performance in Lagos, scoring a brilliant brace in the 65th and 90th minutes to secure a dominant 3–0 away victory over Dannaz Ladies. Her composure, movement, and clinical finishing sealed Confluence Queens’ most convincing win of the season.
  2. Charity Isaiah (Delta Queens)
    Isaiah rose to the occasion in Umuahia with a decisive 77th-minute goal, securing a hard-fought 1–0 away win against Ahudiyannem Queens. Her strike proved the difference in a tightly contested encounter.
  3. Zainab Ismail (Ekiti Queens)
    Ismail opened the scoring in Ibadan with a crucial 24th-minute goal, setting Ekiti Queens on course for a 2–0 victory over Pacesetter Queens. Her early breakthrough gave Ekiti control and momentum in an important away fixture.
  4. Oluwakemi Adegbuyi (FC Robo Queens)
    Adegbuyi struck early with a 24th-minute goal in Aba, laying the foundation for FC Robo Queens’ 2–0 win against Abia Angels. Her sharpness and attacking presence consistently troubled the hosts throughout the match.
  5. Atume Doosuur (Edo Queens)
    Doosuur anchored Edo Queens’ dominant display in Abuja, opening the scoring just before halftime in a commanding 3–0 victory over Naija Ratels. Her consistency and control in midfield helped Edo Queens dominate the game.
