2025/2026 NPFL Match Day 4 Preview: Kwara United FC Locked in Battle Against Warri Wolves in Uzoro

Kwara United will continue their 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign with a tough away clash against newly promoted Warri Wolves on Matchday 4.

 

The game is scheduled for Sunday at the Delta Southern University Stadium, Uzoro.

 

The Harmony Boys aim to build on their morale-boosting victory over Kun Khalifa in their last outing, as this fixture comes just days before their crucial CAF Confederation Cup clash against Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

 

Warri Wolves are no strangers to Nigeria’s topflight football despite their absence in recent seasons. Having secured promotion this term, they have already played three matches — winning two and losing one — proving they are not just back to make up the numbers.

 

Coach Tunde Sanni is unlikely to make major changes to the lineup that defeated Kun Khalifa, following the popular coaching maxim: “Never change a winning team.”

 

Team captain Afeez Musa Olororo has assured fans that the players are ready to give 100% both on and off the pitch and has called for full support from the club’s faithful.

 

So far, Kwara United have recorded one win, one draw, and one loss from their opening three fixtures.

 

With Warri Wolves boasting a slightly better record of two wins and one loss, Sunday’s clash promises to be a thrilling and closely contested battle.
