NNL to Train 34 Clubs on BetPawa Locker Room Bonus Onboarding

Posted : 22 October 2026

The Nigeria National League (NNL) will organise a virtual training session for 34 participating clubs on the onboarding process for the BetPawa Locker Room Bonus ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

The league announced the renewal of its partnership with gaming company BetPawa, expressing delight at the continuation of the sponsorship arrangement.

The training, which will be conducted via Zoom, is designed to familiarise clubs with the procedures, requirements and documentation necessary to access the Locker Room Bonus.

As part of the preparations, each participating club has been directed to submit the details of its media manager, media officer or designated staff member responsible for the onboarding process.

The information is to be forwarded to the NNL Secretariat or the chairman of the NNL Clubs Media Officers Association.

NNL Chief Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana, said the workshop would ensure that all participating clubs understand the modalities for accessing the bonus and comply with the established guidelines.

He explained that the exercise forms part of efforts to promote transparency and ensure the smooth implementation of the BetPawa sponsorship package throughout the new season.

Alanana urged all 34 clubs to take the training seriously, emphasising that proper onboarding is a mandatory requirement for eligibility for the Locker Room Bonus.

The league said the date and other details of the virtual training would be communicated to the participating clubs in due course.
