NNL mgt calls for improved fair play among teams

In light of the commencement of the 2023/2024 season of the Nigeria National League (NNL), the leadership of the Southern Conference Clubs urged its members on Friday to avoid prioritizing the three points available at all costs.

Instead, the conference advised the clubs to embrace and uphold the principles of good and exemplary conduct throughout the season.

In a joint statement, the conference participants appealed to the members and clubs to ensure that games are played in a friendly and harmonious atmosphere, free from violence and discord in any form, in order to maintain the high reputation that the conference has consistently enjoyed year after year.

While calling upon member clubs to cooperate and support the League Board and the Secretariat in ensuring a smooth and improved season, the conference also urged the League Management to be fair, just, and impartial to all participating clubs by consistently applying rules, regulations, and sanctions uniformly.

The conference members include Tobi Adepoju (Secretary), Fatai Olayinka (Coordinator), Tony Rafua (Conference Leader).
