Niger Tornadoes' Clinton Jephta goal machine speaks on form

In-form forward of Niger Tornadoes, Clinton Jephta, has revealed the secret behind his scoring form in the ongoing 2023/2024 NPFL season.


Jephta is currently experiencing the best form of his career, with seven goal involvements in the last three NPFL matches, including four goals and two assists. He also won one penalty, contributing to a total of four goals and four assists this season.


He said: "The secret is hard work and prayers; that's all I have to say. Additionally, the team has been very helpful to me, encouraging me, especially my coaches and teammates, for their patience while waiting for me to score goals and provide assists.


"To the fans, let's keep hope alive. We will do our best to maintain this form and aim to finish among the top six teams in the league. As for my goals, they can continue to count on me."
