NFF Confirms Exciting Women's Round of 16 Fixtures for 2026 President Federation Cup

The Nigeria Football Federation has officially released the schedule and venues for the Round of 16 matches in the 2026 Women's President Federation Cup. According to tournament directives, all crucial knockout fixtures will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. This comes right after a high-scoring Round of 32 that saw top clubs assert their dominance across the country.

Defending champions Rivers Angels will continue their title defense against newly promoted domestic rivals Abia Angels at the neutral ground in Uyo. The Port Harcourt powerhouse booked their spot in style by crushing NAF Queens 12-0 in the previous round. This round of sixteen tie serves as a thrilling precursor to the upcoming Nigeria Women Football League Premiership Super Six playoffs.

In another highly anticipated showdown, Delta Queens are set to battle regional heavyweight Edo Queens at the Awka City Stadium. Edo Queens entered this stage after beating Ghetto Tigers 3-1, thanks to a solid performance from star forward Chioma Moses. Meanwhile, South West regional rivals FC Robo Queens will square off against Remo Stars Ladies in Akure after sliding past Rangers Women in a tight 3-2 victory.

The remaining match-ups present several intriguing cross-country battles between seasoned top-flight teams. Nasarawa Amazons will go head-to-head against Naija Ratels in Kaduna following their respective dominant wins over Osklean FC and Mighty Jets Mata. Additionally, Ibom Angels will lock horns with Bayelsa Queens in Awka, while Heartland Queens take on Ahudiannem Queens in Enugu.

The federation has directed all state football associations to communicate the kick-off times to the participating clubs immediately. Games are scheduled to start at either 1:00 pm or 4:00 pm depending on local stadium arrangements. Host football associations have also been ordered to ensure that optimal logistics and security structures are fully in place ahead of the match day.
