The groundbreaking three-day FIFA Capacity-Building Workshop for Women Football Administrators officially concluded on Sunday in the nation's capital city of Abuja. The specialized training intensive was organized through a strategic partnership between football governing body FIFA and the Nigeria Football Federation. The program forms part of a wider global development framework designed to significantly expand operational capabilities within women's sports structures.

The General Secretary of the NFF, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, addressed the attendees and facilitators during his formal closing remarks on Sunday evening. He heavily praised the deep dedication displayed by the 41 selected administrative participants who took part in the intensive training block. Sanusi noted that empowering executive women remains an essential priority to elevate leadership standards within the local football ecosystem.

The diverse assembly of participants featured 20 representatives from the Nigeria Women Football League along with 15 internal NFF staff members. The cohort also included state football association secretaries arriving from Lagos, Yobe, and Nasarawa states to undergo the development training.

A highly respected panel of six prominent international and local resource experts delivered the academic lectures during the three-day sports summit. The global delegation featured recognized FIFA women's football technical experts Thubaelihle Sibanda and Tsholofelo Setlhoko. The local instructional contingent included NFF executive member Aisha Falode, alongside academic researchers Professor Mariam Suleiman and Dr. Anthonia Uwa.

The entire multi-day workshop pipeline was smoothly coordinated under the supervision of NFF Director of Competitions Ms. Ruth David. Prominent domestic stakeholders attended the closing ceremony to witness the formal certificate presentation to the graduating administrative class.
