The Nasarawa State Government has set up a three-man Management Committee to oversee the affairs of the Nasarawa United Football Club Feeder Team.
The appointed Committee Members include Andrew Ahmed Alkali as Chairman, Jafaru Rengon Yahaya as Team Manager, and Kolawole Dada as Technical Adviser.
The Commissioner for the Ministry, Kwanta Yakubu, joined by the Permanent Secretary, Ibrahim Adamu Alhassan, and Board Members of the parent Nasarawa United FC, led by Mr. Solomon Babanjah, formally inaugurated the new Management, charging them with revamping the Feeder Team's structure, enhancing performance, and fostering a culture of excellence to support Nasarawa United’s talent transition.
He also tasked the new Management to work in unison with the main team to properly identify and nurture young and exceptional talents between the ages of 14 and 17 from across the State, and to strengthen partnerships with local and foreign football clubs and stakeholders.
Kwanta reaffirmed Governor Abdullahi Sule's commitment to supporting talent development and sports promotion.
The new Management has since commenced the assigned tasks at Lafia City Stadium.
