MultiChoice Nigeria Unveils Discounted DStv And GOtv World Cup Bundles For Fans

MultiChoice Nigeria has officially launched special promotional bundle offers for its DStv and GOtv platforms. The campaign aims to make the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup highly accessible to football fans across the country. The discount drive rolled out nationally on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Under the new promotional framework, new DStv customers can acquire a high-definition decoder, a satellite dish kit, and a full month of DStv Yanga subscription for N15,000. Similarly, new GOtv users can purchase a decoder, an antenna, and a one-month GOtv Jolli subscription package for the same price of N15,000.

The strategic price drop comes as excitement builds for the historic global tournament; the event will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The expanded edition will make history as the largest FIFA World Cup ever. It will feature 48 national teams, including an unprecedented nine automatic African representatives, competing in 104 matches over a 39-day period.

Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, Kemi Omotosho, noted that the broad initiative reflects the company’s core commitment to consumer value. She emphasized that the World Cup represents a unified global moment; the broadcaster wants to ensure every household can follow the action live. Omotosho added that the bundles remove financial barriers for fans wanting to connect before the opening kickoff.

SuperSport will deliver exhaustive coverage of the soccer showpiece across sub-Saharan Africa. Subscribed viewers will gain access to live broadcasts of all 104 matches alongside four dedicated 24-hour tournament channels. MultiChoice will also introduce a legacy pop-up channel highlighting historic World Cup matches and iconic archive footage. Selected sports channels will undergo temporary rebranding to help subscribers navigate the match schedules effortlessly.
