Nigeria National League (NNL) side Godswill Akpabio United are set to strengthen their technical department with the appointment of experienced coach Monday Odigie as the club's Technical Director.
Odigie, who previously managed Bendel Insurance, is expected to take up the new role as the Uyo-based club continues preparations for the 2026-27 NNL season. His arrival is seen as part of the club's plans to build a strong technical structure capable of challenging for promotion.
The experienced tactician will work closely with newly appointed head coach Edward Green on all football-related matters. During his time with the Benin Arsenal, he played a key role in rebuilding the club and guiding them back into the Nigeria Premier Football League, while also helping the team become competitive in domestic competitions.
