Doma United FC has reaffirmed its commitment to merit-based player recruitment as preparations gather pace for the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The club’s Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Suleiman Umar (Ma Doma), gave the assurance while addressing newly invited players participating in the club’s ongoing screening exercise.
Welcoming the hopefuls, Umar urged them to approach the exercise with determination and professionalism, stressing that selection into the squad would be based strictly on ability and performance.
“Any player who is good will be selected. We believe in ability, commitment, and hard work,” he said.
He described Doma United as “a land of grace,” adding that the club provides committed and disciplined players with a platform to develop and build successful football careers.
The CEO encouraged the players to remain focused, maintain discipline, and make the most of the opportunity by showcasing their talents during the screening process.
According to him, outstanding performances will earn deserving players places in the team as the club continues to build a competitive squad for the new NPFL campaign.
The screening exercise forms part of Doma United’s pre-season activities aimed at strengthening the team ahead of the forthcoming top-flight season.
