The coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side Akwa United, Fatai Osho, urged the team on Monday to pursue consistency in achieving victory.

 

The Promise Keepers secured a narrow 1-0 win against league leaders Lobi Stars in Eket on Sunday, prompting Osho to commend the players for their hard work and commitment.

 

"This victory is inspiring because despite our consistent good play without results, today's win against Lobi Stars is encouraging. We aim to maintain this level in upcoming matches,” Osho stated.

 

“It's not just about winning at home; we need consistency to improve our position in the league. We must aim for points even in away games.

 

“I’m impressed with my players’ performance, but we acknowledge the need for further effort to secure wins, not only at home but also away.”
