Man United Eye Fernandes and Ederson as Spurs and Forest Explore Transfer Targets

Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, while also holding talks over a potential move for Atalanta’s Ederson as the club looks to strengthen its midfield options ahead of the new season.

Fernandes, a 21-year-old Portugal international, has also attracted attention from Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, with West Ham said to value him at around £80 million due to his rapid development and growing reputation in European football.

United are also in advanced negotiations with Atalanta for Brazilian midfielder Ederson, although discussions are ongoing as both clubs remain apart in their valuation of the 26-year-old.

Elsewhere in the transfer market, Tottenham Hotspur are no longer pursuing Roma striker Paulo Dybala, shifting their focus away from the 32-year-old Argentina World Cup winner.

Nottingham Forest are preparing a move for Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney, a 23-year-old English talent who has impressed in the Championship and is expected to attract further Premier League interest.

Turkish side Fenerbahce are monitoring Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, who is currently on loan at Tottenham, with uncertainty surrounding his long-term future.

Tottenham captain Cristian Romero has also been linked with a potential reunion with Argentina coach Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid, although no formal approach has been made.

Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix is expected to leave Selhurst Park this summer, with several Premier League clubs reportedly monitoring the French international’s situation.

Tottenham are also considering a possible move for Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin as they assess their options in goal ahead of the new campaign.

Meanwhile, AC Milan remain confident that veteran midfielder Luka Modric, now 40, will extend his stay at the club for another season as discussions continue over a new deal.
