Man City Eye Vinícius Júnior as Europe’s Elite Circle PSG Star Bradley Barcola

Posted : 08 May 2026

Manchester City are reportedly keeping close watch on the future of Vinícius Júnior as uncertainty grows over his long-term commitment at Real Madrid. The Brazilian winger has just over a year remaining on his current deal, and negotiations over an extension are said to be at an impasse.

Reports suggest Real Madrid are prepared to consider offers if the 25-year-old does not agree to new terms before the summer window. As talks stall, City are understood to be monitoring the situation closely, with the Premier League champions identifying him as a potential high-profile target.

Elsewhere in Europe, Bradley Barcola has become one of the most sought-after young attackers ahead of the transfer window. The Paris Saint-Germain winger is attracting strong interest from several top clubs, including Liverpool, Barcelona and Arsenal.

Sources indicate that preliminary discussions have already taken place with Barcola’s representatives. PSG are reportedly open to a sale if their valuation is met, with the player admired for his direct dribbling and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations.

Barcelona are said to be particularly keen on adding a winger with his profile, while Liverpool are considering him as a possible long-term attacking option as they plan for future changes in their forward line.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs tracking Sporting CP full-back Maxi Araújo. The 26-year-old impressed scouts during recent European performances, and his value could rise further with strong displays at upcoming international tournaments.

In Germany, 18-year-old defender Karim Coulibaly is also drawing attention from elite European sides including Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester United and Chelsea after a breakout season with Werder Bremen.

Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović is also expected to be a major talking point this summer, with reports suggesting he is open to a move to either Bayern Munich or Barcelona, even if it means accepting a reduced role initially.

Across Europe, clubs continue to position themselves early in a highly competitive transfer market, with several top talents—including Vinícius Júnior and Barcola—at the centre of major summer planning.
