As the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season approaches its second half, Lobi Stars Football Club is set to host FRSC FC of Abuja in a high-octane friendly match at the newly renovated McCarthy Stadium on Saturday, February 7. The encounter is part of the club’s preparations to ensure the Pride of Benue enters the second stanza in peak condition.

The club management revealed that the team used the mid-season break not for rest, but for refinement. Training intensity has increased, tactical discipline has been strengthened, and squad cohesion has steadily improved. Saturday’s match will serve as a key platform for translating preparation into on-field performance as the team builds momentum for the competitive challenges ahead.
