2025/2026 NNL Match Day 2 Preview: Lobi Stars Aim for Back-to-Back Wins Against Kada Warriors

Match Day 2 of the Nigeria National League promises an exciting encounter as Lobi Stars travel to face Kada Warriors FC at their adopted home, Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. The highly anticipated match, already regarded by football pundits as one of the standout fixtures of the weekend, kicks off on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The “Pride of Benue” come into the game brimming with confidence after a commanding home victory over City FC in Lafia last weekend. That performance not only earned Lobi Stars maximum points but also set a competitive tone that the team is eager to maintain.

For Kada Warriors, the task is challenging. The “Crocodile” boys returned home empty-handed after a loss to Doma United on Match Day One and will be looking to harness the support of their home crowd to mount a strong response.
