Kwara United Queens will have an opportunity to turn recent disappointment into celebration when they face Model Queens in the final of the YSFON CP Cup U-17 Girls' category at the KFA Pitch, George Innih Stadium, Ilorin, today.

The eagerly anticipated final, scheduled for 2:00 p.m., offers the Courageous Queens a chance to secure the club's first-ever piece of silverware and provide a memorable ending to their campaign.

Kwara United Queens earned their place in the final after edging perennial rivals Champions Rise 1-0 in a keenly contested semi-final, setting up a decisive showdown with Model Queens.

The young Queens have since intensified their preparations, with the team determined to translate their hard work throughout the competition into a trophy.

Beyond the prospect of silverware, the final also presents an opportunity for Kwara United Queens to respond positively to the disappointment of their recent NWFL Nationwide campaign in Aba, Abia State.

Coach Abdullahi Abdulganiyu believes his players have chosen the latter path, insisting that they are mentally and physically prepared for the decisive encounter.
