Kwara United Queens Continue Pre-Season Build-Up with Surprise FA U-15 Test

Kwara United Queens will continue their preparations for the forthcoming Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide League with another pre-season friendly against Surprise Football Academy U-15 on Thursday.

The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 a.m. at the team's training ground as the Courageous Queens step up efforts to attain peak fitness ahead of the new campaign.

The friendly follows Monday's 1-1 draw against Bravo Academy U-15, a match that gave the technical crew another opportunity to assess the squad, evaluate tactical plans, and gauge the players' level of readiness.

The Bravo Academy fixture also helped improve the team's cohesion, coordination, and understanding while highlighting areas requiring further attention before the start of the league.

Following the draw, the Ilorin-based side resumed intensive training on Tuesday, with the players taking part in drills centred on shooting accuracy, ball recovery, and tactical organisation.

The coaching crew is expected to use Thursday's fixture to further fine-tune the squad and provide additional playing time for members of the team as preparations gather momentum for the NWFL Nationwide League season.

The pre-season programme is expected to help the technical crew assess the team's progress and make final adjustments before the league begins. Kwara United Queens will be aiming to build confidence and consistency as they continue their preparations for the new campaign.
