The newly assembled squad resumed training on Monday at the George Innih Stadium in Ilorin, Kwara State, marking the start of an intensive pre-season programme designed to build fitness and tactical cohesion.
The team held two training sessions during the day, with the morning workout starting at 7:00 a.m. and the afternoon session at 3:30 p.m.
Under the guidance of the club's technical crew, the players took part in a series of conditioning and tactical exercises, including jogging, shuttle runs, ball recovery drills, and other fitness routines aimed at preparing them for the demands of the league.
Club Chairman, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Owolabi Wopa, was on hand to monitor the team's progress and expressed satisfaction with the level of preparation so far.
Wopa said the club had put the necessary structures in place for a productive pre-season and encouraged the players to remain disciplined, united, and committed throughout the campaign.
He stressed that teamwork and dedication would be crucial as the club looks to make a strong impression in its first-ever NWFL Nationwide season.
The club expects more players to join the camp in the coming days, with training scheduled to continue on Tuesday as preparations gather momentum ahead of the new season.
With preparations now underway, Kwara United Queens will be aiming to build a competitive squad capable of making a positive impact in their debut NWFL Nationwide campaign and laying a strong foundation for future success.
