Kwara United Continue Pre-season Fine Form with 3-0 Win Over Offa FC

Kwara United maintained their impressive build-up to the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Offa FC in a pre-season friendly played at the Federal Polytechnic Sports Complex, Offa.

Emmanuel Ekpeyong handed the Harmony Boys the lead in the 39th minute before Olawale Tosin struck twice in the second half, scoring in the 62nd and 70th minutes to complete a dominant performance.

The encounter formed part of the club's preparations for the new NPFL campaign, with the coaching crew using the opportunity to assess both established and new players ahead of the season.

The match also attracted enthusiastic support from football fans in Offa, who applauded the team's organisation, attacking display, and overall improvement throughout the game.

Kwara United will now shift attention to another demanding pre-season fixture against continental campaigners Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in Ibadan on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

Speaking after the victory, Kwara United Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, thanked football stakeholders and the people of Offa for their hospitality during the club's stay in the town.

Titiloye, who watched the match alongside the club's General Manager, Bashir Badawiy, also presented a Kwara United replica jersey to the Executive Chairman of Offa Local Government, Suleiman Olatunji Omituntun, in appreciation of the support received.

Among those present at the match were Azeez Omoluabi, Musbau Olalekan Olaniyi, and other football stakeholders.

The convincing victory underlines Kwara United's steady progress during pre-season as they continue to build momentum ahead of the new NPFL campaign. The forthcoming clash against Shooting Stars is expected to provide another important test of the team's readiness for the challenges of the 2026/27 season.
