Kwara United Seek Improved Performance Against Wikki Tourists

Kwara United FC aim to bounce back with a stronger performance as they face Wikki Tourists in NPFL Match Day 8.

 

Having arrived early in Bauchi for their 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 8 clash, Kwara United FC are focusing on improved performance against hosts Wikki Tourists.

 

The Harmony Boys, despite winning the 2025 President Federation Cup and suffering an early exit from the 2025/2026 CAF Confederation Cup, are eager to regain consistency and secure either a victory or a valuable draw in Bauchi.

 

Under an interim coach, the Ilorin-based side has been working hard to improve on their recent displays as they face the Bauchi-based Baby Elephants at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium.

 

Kwara United currently sit in 13th place on the NPFL table with two wins, two draws, and three losses from seven matches.

 

On the other hand, Wikki Tourists have struggled to maintain form this season, finding themselves just a point above the relegation zone.

 

Under the guidance of experienced coach Abdul Makaiba, the Baby Elephants are determined to return to winning ways after enduring four winless matches.

 

With both teams desperate for points, Sunday’s fixture promises a tightly contested battle in Bauchi.
