Kun Khalifa Confirm Imminent Exit of Captain Chikamso Amaefula to Rivers United

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Kun Khalifa have officially confirmed the departure of their club captain, Chikamso Amaefula. The defensive midfielder is on the verge of completing a permanent transfer to league rivals Rivers United ahead of the upcoming domestic campaign.

The Owerri-based club announced that Amaefula is not making the switch to Port Harcourt alone. He will be joined at his new destination by teammate Blessed Iyamu; the influential midfielder also played a vital role in Kun Khalifa's top-flight squad last season.

In an official club statement, Kun Khalifa expressed deep appreciation to their departing skipper for his unwavering dedication to the team.
