Katsina Utd FC starts life with Coach Abubakar on a bright start

The newly appointed coach of Katsina United, Abubakar Bala, began his tenure as the Technical Adviser of Katsina United, opening his account with a lone-goal victory over the hard-fighting Bendel Insurance in Match Day 14 of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).


The Changi Boys secured a victory over the visiting Benin Arsenals at the Umaru Dikko Stadium in Katsina.


Chidera Ezeh's solitary goal in the 74th minute, from the penalty spot, was all they needed for the three points at stake.


Recall that the management of Katsina United FC had sacked the erstwhile coach of the team, Tony Bolus, a decision that some fans are skeptical about.


Abubakar, after the match, noted that he had a huge task ahead of him, which included bringing stability to the team.
