Following the example of his Plateau State counterpart, Governor Dikko Ummaru Radda announced on Friday the donation of two buses to the state-owned team, Katsina United Football Club.
The Governor of Katsina State, Mal Dikko Ummaru Radda, presented two brand new Toyota buses to the club to enhance their travel experience, featuring a 32-seater coaster bus and an 18-seater bus.
Governor Radda handed over the keys of the two buses to the Club's Interim Chairman, Alhaji Kabir Dan'lami Rimi, at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina, through the state Commissioner of Sports and Youths Development, Alhaji Aliyu Lawal Shargalle.
While delivering the keys to the vehicles, the State Governor stated that the donation is aimed at boosting the morale of the club to continue performing well in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League.
Dikko Ummaru Radda reiterated his commitment to providing Katsina United with all the necessary assistance for the overall development of football-related matters.
Upon receiving the keys, Club Interim Chairman Alhaji Kabir Dan'lami Rimi thanked Governor Mal Dikko Ummaru Radda for the gesture and commended him for his support.
Kabir Dan'lami Rimi assured of his readiness to ensure the proper maintenance of the vehicles for their intended purpose and pledged the Club's leadership's continued success in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League season.
