Kano Pillars Football Club has announced the departure of eight players following the expiration of their contracts at the end of the 2025/2026 football season.
In a statement, the Nigeria Premier Football League side confirmed that the contracts of Muhammad Galadima, Ugochukwu Gabriel, Zahraddeen Bello, Williams Ayuba, Bernard Ovoke, Christian Izuchukwu, Sudais Ali Baba, and Aliyu Yakubu had officially come to an end.
The club expressed appreciation to the players for their commitment, professionalism, and contributions during their time with the four-time Nigerian champions.
“On behalf of the management, technical crew, staff, and supporters of Sai Masu Gida, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of them and wish them success in the next chapter of their respective careers,” the club stated.
Kano Pillars noted that the departing players played important roles during their stay at the club and would always remain part of the club’s family.
“Their efforts and services to the club will always be appreciated and they will remain valued members of the Kano Pillars FC family,” the statement added.
