Kaduna FA Cup 2026 set for kickoff as fixtures promise fierce battles

The stage is set for an exciting 2026 Kaduna State Federation Cup following the release of fixtures by the Kaduna State Football Association, with teams gearing up for a fiercely contested tournament.

Action begins on April 8 at the Police College Ground, where Simon Ben FC will lock horns with Ranchers Bees Feeder in the opening fixture.

The winner of that tie will advance to face Green Beret FC on April 16 as the competition gathers momentum.

Several intriguing first-round clashes are also lined up, including Croc City FC versus ABU Workers on April 9, while Green Atlas FC will take on City FC on April 12, with Ranchers Bees FC awaiting the winner in the next round. Other fixtures will see JKD FC battle Shooting Stars FC on April 13, and ABU DLC square off against Mosports FC on April 14.

One of the standout teams, Kada Warriors FC, will begin their campaign from the second round.

They are scheduled to play on April 17 against a yet-to-be-determined opponent emerging from the earlier rounds, adding an extra layer of anticipation to their entry into the tournament.

The competition will intensify with the semi-finals slated for April 22 and 23. Attention will then shift to the finals, with the women’s final set for April 25, followed by the men’s final on April 26.

All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3:00 PM, with teams required to arrive at least one hour before kickoff.

The Kaduna FA has also emphasized strict compliance with tournament rules to ensure a smooth and competitive championship.

With top clubs across the state vying for glory and the chance to represent Kaduna on the national stage, fans can expect a thrilling showcase of grassroots football talent throughout the tournament.

The release of these fixtures marks the beginning of an intense journey for local clubs dreaming of national recognition. As the teams prepare for the April 8 kickoff, the atmosphere in Kaduna remains charged with expectations for high-quality football.
